Things have been a bit busy at work – lots of project work (already in week 11 of my return to Bandwidth.com – time sure is flying by!).
I’ve continued my Udemy Streak – mixing in some shorter courses along with one long one on Data Lake’s I’ll post about in a week or two once I am done.
However, my time has also been consumed with final research, applications, interviews and waiting to see if I would be accepted to an MBA program.
I’ve spent a lot of time building technical skills and experience, and I’ve been part of three consecutive successful business outcomes – but I’ve only really known the business perspective, strategy, finance, and org leadership in the ways my recent companies have done it.
It was time for me to broaden my horizons and literally put my money where my mouth is with respect to lifelong learning (lol) – and go back to school to fill in gaps so I can be a hands-on technical leader that has complementary business training. I can’t wait to get started!
So in January 2026 I will start my Jenkins MBA journey with NC State’s Poole College of Management!
